The Club at Mediterra has completed the second phase of a two-phase $16 million Clubhouse expansion initiative that was undertaken without a member assessment and funded through financing and healthy capital reserves. The expansion added more than 20,000 square feet to the Clubhouse. Redesigned in a European Chic-style, the Clubhouse that now measures nearly 60,000 total square feet is the epicenter of social life within the award-winning community. Phase II included the expansion and renovation of previously existing spaces, the addition of new spaces that will further enhance the Club member experience, painting the Clubhouse exterior in a light beige color, and the creation of new storage areas and spaces with new technology that will improve the efficiency of the Clubhouse staff. The entire lobby of the Clubhouse was renovated, including the installation of Italian wood inlay flooring and the addition of a corridor around the Ballroom that will provide access from the lobby to all the various rooms within the Clubhouse. In addition to expanding the Ballroom to seat 250 guests, a new Garden Room with seating for 55 guests was created. The existing Sunroom that seats 32 guests was renovated. A new terrace off the Ballroom can also be accessed from the Sunroom and Garden Room. A Grand Staircase will lead from the terrace to a captivating courtyard. The Boardroom was renovated, including the installation of a built-in screen and projector and electronic capabilities in the Boardroom table.
